Now matter what you decide, there are two important issues you need to be concerned about when considering what to do with that old computer. These are:

  • How do I protect myself against data theft or other unauthorized use of information stored on my computer?

  • Scheduling an appointment to pick up your old items
  • Reliably destroing all the information on the hard drive
  • IT Patrol gaurantees that it is disposed of in an environmentally safe manner in conjunction with the State of Minnesota and Government of Ontario’s “Electronic Stewardship Program”.

If your old computer is in good working condition you may also opt in to donate it. IT Patrol will reliably destroy all information on your system so you will be sure that your safe from any kind of data theft or unathorize use of information.
